Fresh out of college and armed with a research grant, Saul Heinrich heads to the backwoods of his home state to look for Bigfoot. I love Andrew Heaton's screwy sense of humor, and I listen to his podcast "Something's Off with Andrew Heaton," occasionally - so I had to read this book when it came up as a selection on Book Bub. I think I got it really cheap. Maybe for free. I can't remember. Really funny, well written, actually thought-provoking, in a twisty, don't put it down or you'll miss something, I really don't want to read this any more, but can't stop, kind of way. No seriously, really enjoyed it. Might even call it a rollicking good read.Product details

Andrew Heaton has the wit and prose of a Stephen King and the comedy of Jack Handey. This book is filled with sex, drinking and of course Werewolves! Its like a scene out of True Blood. Download it now and fulfill your life. It just isnt complete until you read this book.
I can't actually comment on the material in this book. In fact, it may well be highly enjoyable. That is neither here nor there. What I will comment on is the author. He is the worst. Andrew Heaton is to being a The Worst as the Pope is to being a Member of the Catholic Church (Andrew - to put it simply - this means all the worst guys took a vote and decided to make you their leader). To fill anyone in on the nature of this feud would take more time than I care to spend on a book review of my enemy. I'll just leave you with this; take any laughter brought to you by his writing and any semblance of talent you may otherwise glean in this book with a grain of salt because Andrew Heaton is the worst.
Great book
It took a bit to get into but was well worth it. I'm not much of a first person narrative fan but really enjoyed the story and writing.
A lot of fun!
I don't really read comedies, but Andrew is so good at what he does, I had to try. And.. it was free )
Imaginative, innovative, and genuinely funny!
